In order to provide quality services, it is necessary to have a nominal membership fee in order to pay for overhead. For example, hosting and maintaining a website is not free. Sending out correspondence, printing, etc. costs money. Having staff available to provide services for the association.
The National Urban Ministry Association serves a similar function as other associations for those working in other fields. The National Urban Ministry Association helps to provide encouragement, services, support, and resources for those serving in urban ministry in our cities.
